Carol was a Beautiful Awesome woman, who we will greatly miss. She was part of our "Polar Buddies" Group. We planned our 50th H.S. Reunion, and this year, our 55th H.S. Reunion. It was so wonderful getting to know Carol, and her positive outlook, her faith, and her love for her family. Carol was loved by many, family and friends.
Mary Jo, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, A SPECIAL AND AWESOME WOMAN!!!!
I'm not sure if I knew Jim or not. He was an Astronomy Professor, and I took as little science as I could. After reading all of this, I so much admire Jim, for both his Knowledge and Love of Rivers and the Surrounding Areas around Rivers, and his Love and Knowledge of Kayaking. From all of the information here, it appears Jim was a really great man.
Chris, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A VERY SWEET AND SPECIAL WOMAN. I remember fondly our 3 years at North St. Paul HS, including cheering on the various teams - Football, Hockey, Basketball, etc. I think our "Cheering" group was one of our Official Cheer Leaders favorites - with All of our School Spirit! Chris, Judy and I really hope to see you at our 55th NORTH ST PAUL HIGH SCHOOL REUNION, on this coming August 22nd. It's going to be at the North St. Paul American Legion, from 4pm-8pm. Judy and I are on the Reunion Committee. For More Info, Go to: northstpaul1969.com. It would be so great to see you. Love, Jean Anderson
Dear Judy, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!! From your twin sister, Jean. Love you much!!!!
Brian, Happy Birthday to you. I hope you get this message from me. It's been awhile since we have communicated back and forth. I believe the last time was when you told me you were a Professor. I am now retired as a County Social Worker. I retired in August 2014. I would love to communicate further with you.

Hello John and Cindy, I hope all is well with you two and your family. It is nice to talk to you occasionally via phone John, and to connect with you as well, Cindy. John, you were always fun at high school, and a good friend to both Judy and me.

Michele was a dear friend of my twin sister's,Judy Anderson Zielinski, and me. We grew up with her in our neighborhood, and went to Hazelwood Elementary School with her, were close with Michele, and her siblings, and her parents. Ten years ago, Michele needed a double lung transplant, almost died before she got this transplant. Michele was doing good for a long while. However, then she started having problems with her one of her kidneys, was placed on a kidney donation list, and had been put on kidney dialysis. She had a Wonderful Awesome husband, Bobby Giancola, they winter in Florida with their adorable little dogs. They went to Florida this year, and this is where our Michele got Covid. With other parts of her body also failing, Michele just couldn't fight off the Covid, and everything else. Michele died with Bobby holding one of her hands, and a good friend,Cindy, holding her other hand, and saying goodbye to her. I will miss Michele so much, her great humor, and her beautiful self. Michele was a gem, a Diamond. We love you, Michele.
Linda was a beautiful person and a friend, at John Glenn Jr. High School, and at North St. Paul High School. We also kept in touch for awhile post-high school. I am so sorry that she had this awful disease. She was such a vivacious outgoing woman, full of life. I know that she is in Heaven now, with our Lord God, and free of all pain, and she is smiling her wonderful smile again.
Dear Donna, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, A Dear, Sweet Friend.
Love,
Jean
Another comment, which I had hesitated to have stated before. In our John Glenn Junior High gym class, our teacher would allow each student to be a "Captain" of a team sport that we were playing. Now, I was usually picked next to last, before Juanita, because I was far from being called "athletic". So, one day, our teacher chose me to be the "Captain" for a team sport we were playing. Well, my first choice was one of my best friends, Diane Kopesky, who was a very good athlete. Then, when it became my turn to choose again, I turned to Juanita, and said, "Juanita". As you can imagine, she was very surprised, and very happy. Now, I am not telling you all this to get a pat on my back, not at all, and that is why I didn't tell this story before. The joy in Juanita's face, and that afterward our saying hello to each other in the school hallways, and smiling, was all that mattered. And like Judy Johnson, I also became a Social Worker.
I am so sad to read this about Juanita. She was at Hazelwood Elementary School with us, in the "special class" they had. I think there was a small number of students in this class. Then, at John Glenn Junior High School, as Judy Anderson Zielinski stated, the "Special Ed" students joined us in our gym class. Juanita was in my gym class. She was so nice. It is sad that some students bullied Juanita. Juanita was a sweet woman and a gentle soul. My sympathies and Prayers for her family and friends.
Jim, we really missed seeing you and Joanne at our 50th Reunion Party. My twin sister, Judy, told me that she spoke with you via phone prior to the party, and had a nice conversation with you. Our next Reunion will be in 5 Years - 2024! So, Please put that on your Calendar. Please take care, and continue to do the good work that you and Joanne are doing for animals.
