March 14, 1951 - February 3, 2008
David passed away 2/3/08 from (ALS) Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. He was diagnosed 2/15/2007 & progressed quickly. He accepted this disease head on with courage. His faith & determination gave his family great strength.
Ross, David S. "Rabbit" Beloved Husband, Father, grandpapa and brother Age 56 of Stacy, formerly of North St. Paul. Early Sunday morning David peacefully met his Lord surrounded by his loving devoted family. Survived by his beloved wife of 35 yrs, Debbie (nee Prettner); daughter, Nicole Maloney (Shawn); grandchildren, Brady and Isabella; son, Ben (Laura); sister, Suzanne; brother, James (Debra); many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces & nephews. After graduating from North High School in North St. Paul, he enlisted in the Navy and served four years. Rabbit went on to work for McGough Construction. He was a loyal and dedicated member of Laborers Local Union 132. David was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrigs disease) on February 15, 2007. He accepted this disease head on with courage. His faith & determination gave us all great strength. Of all his accomplishments, he was most proud of his family.

Dave was great to have as a brother in law and we all miss having him as part of our family. My sister Debbie is a Saint and she with her children allowed Dave to die with dignity...but it was way too soon.
