Surprised to hear of Mark's passing. I remember him in gym class especially.

Mark Resong was studying Engineering at the U of M at the same time I was. I believe he got a job at Rosemount Engineering after he graduated from the U. Really a nice guy.

Mark was great fun to be around. He would drive his old green Rambler Stationwagon nicknamed "Oinko" in our University of Minnesota carpool.  Late in the day at the U some of us were ready to go home.  Mark would be trying to study in the old Main Engineering library and we would pester the heck out him so he had to drive us home.  Besides being very bright he also was fun to be around at the U intermural hockey rink (the old Williams Arena).

Mark was a good friend and I will remember him forever. In cub scouts he was always getting another badge or award. He was a very good student and was always ready to help someone with their studies. He was a good man.      Clair Mcreynolds
