I'm so sad and so sorry to hear that Bob has died. He was a great guy. We attended North St Paul High School together. Right before our Senior Year in HS, some of us took a Summer School class - involving Theatre. Bob was a part of this Summer Program. The Play was "Blythe Spirit", a great comedy. We students and our teacher built the set, worked on the costumes, the lights, everything involved with this play. And we put the play one once in the summer. Then Senior Year, I was fortunate to sit next to Bob in an extra Study Hall we had in the auditorium. I would watch Hee Haw on TV, and tell Bob some of the jokes from that show. He just didn't appreciate these jokes. Oh well. He would draw beautiful Theatre Sets, such as from a play, just by hand, not looking at any picture. Bob was very talented as an artist, and as an actor. And he was a very nice guy.We Emailed back and forth right before our Class's 50th Reunion. He was at his Professorship position in North Carolina. He didn't think he would he able to come to our Class Reunion. He mentioned something about having some health issues that prohibited him from coming. He didn't go into detail. I also heard he had an old house he had been working on. I don't know if this was in the past or not. Thanks for the wonderful memories, Bob. I don't remember any of the Hee Haw jokes, and I'm sure you are grateful for that. You were loved by many at North St Paul High School.
