School Story:
Well! Finally decided to update my profile! This is the 2024 & my family, now with 2 beautiful grandchildren, are still living in Texas for 38 years! I like it here, but still consider Minnesota as home! Miss it alot! My husband & I are now living in Elgin, TX. We retired Herrin 2006 where it use to be quiet & carefree! We're about 30 miles East of Austin where we lived for about 20 years to begin with! Elgin is now growing alot, so alot of more traffic! We're still enjoying the antique business! Something that we love doing together! I wish all my Class of 1969 the very very best! Ya'll take care!
I never dreamt that I would ever go back to the old high school to work, but I did in 1978-1979. I was an instructional aide for the Math & Phy. Ed. Depts. My younger sister, by 10 years between us, was a student at the high school at that time. It really seem strange to see some of the old teachers from the time we went to high school now wearing Jeans, no ties, etc. At that time they had 3 hall monitors. Two out of the 3 tried to take me to the Principal's office because I was in the hall during class time. I told them no problem! Take me to your leader! Well! By the time the 3rd monitor saw me in the hall, she told me that she knew who I was & just let me go by! Now that was the good old days! I loved my High School Days at N.St.Paul High & still look back at that time with a lot of memories!!
