Cheryl Denno Smith

The reunion is going to be so much fun- thank you to Cindy and her team for planning it. I left MN for CA in 1973 after I graduated from St. Kate's in nursing and have been here ever since. Currently living/working in the OC. Love adventure travel and am having fun planning an expedition trip with my kids to my last continent, Antarctica.

Favorite teacher was Mrs. Judy Pearson. Just read her book Plaintiff Blues and she mentions our class. She wrote about her teaching experience in northern MN. The book is very inspirational and I kept rooting for her. In the end, she brought about change, but it was heartbreaking to read about how she was treated by her school board.
