CHRISTIAN H. LINDSETH

Christian H. Lindseth, 47, died Saturday May 29, 1999, in Middle Fork of the Feather River at Nelson Point, Plumas County, Calif.

He was born Aug. 5, 1951, in Duluth. He was a resident of Portola, Calif., for the past 2 1/2 years, coming from Reno, Nev., where he had lived for 25 years. He was a self-employed carpenter for 12 years.

He was a veteran and a honorary member of Red Rock Volunteer Fire Department. A great dog lover, he was a member of Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club and West Coast Irish Wolfhound Club and former vice president of Reno Kennel Club. He raised, bred and showed Irish Wolfhounds and especially loved Puca, his Irish Wolfhound who died in April of this year. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and camping.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Helmke of Duluth; a sister, Alicia Hudalla of Charlotte, N.C.; and his former wife, Chris McKernan of Reno.

Family services: will be held at a later date following cremation at Fehrman Mortuary & Crematory in Quincy, Calif. Family requests donations in his memory to Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club c/o Fehrman Mortuary & Crematory, P.O. Box 53, Quincy, CA 95971.
