Melody May DeMarre, age 66, of Swea City, died Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Mayo Clinic in Mankato.

Melody was born May 31, 1951, in Saint Paul, MN, the daughter of Raymond and Margaret (Huelsman) Vanderhoof.

Melody is survived by her husband, Melvin DeMarre JR. of Swea City, son, Michael (Elizabeth) Nelson Jr. of Swea City, son, Marty Nelson of Hinckley, stepdaughter, Heidi (Steve) Rhoades of Fond du Lac, WI, stepdaughter, Stephanie (Roger) Addington of Fond du Lac, stepdaughter, Christina (Darran) Penn of Fond du Lac, stepdaughter, Tracy Shepherd of Fond du Lac, numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Melody was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Donald Vanderhoof, and sister, JoAnn Mattson.
