Joel and I didn't have any classes together but our lockers were next to each other. As a transfer student it was a bit difficult "fitting in". Joel was kind and a really sweet person who, without even knowing it, made me feel at ease. RIP Joel

I remember Joel going all the way back to kindergarten where he was loud and rambunctious...weren't we all?l! I also remember Joel helping me paint my Dad's 57 Thunderbird ( before they were a classic). We painted it lime green like the Mercury Cougar in 68-69. I think my Dad disowned me after that! We lost touch after graduation but always loved sharing that story when I saw him at reunions. RIP Joel
