Steve passed away from Alzheimer’s.

Stephen A. LaCroix, age 68, of Medford, died Monday, August 5, 2019 at The Emeralds at Faribault.
 

Services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Greg Schlicker officiating. Interment and military rites will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, for one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Stephen A., the son of Kenneth H. and Jane (Shafer) LaCroix, was born on April 16, 1951 in St. Paul. He worked in IT for Unisys Corporation in Eagan, and later as an independent contract engineer. Steve was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a Civil War Buff. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and a love of the outdoors.

Survivors include his partner of 29 years, Sharon Grant; children, Daniel LaCroix, Jennifer (and Brian) Carrier, Tom (and Kendall) LaCroix, Tricia Grant and Rick Grant; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Karen (and Michael) O’Connor, Jeff (and Julie) LaCroix and Brian (and Becky) LaCroix; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Jane; and two grandchildren.
